About Adventurer’s Footprints
I’m Nicoline; an adventurous Copenhagen native with a great curiosity and wanderlust. I’ve travelled for as long as I remember and grew up with a strong desire to explore new places and delve into different cultures and lifestyles. And to ask questions.
Back in 2017, I got the opportunity to swap my everyday life in Denmark for a more extraordinary one in Australia. It wasn’t a tough choice. I lived in Sydney for 1,5 years and spent most of my time studying journalism and communication. When I wasn’t busy having my nose in a book I was out exploring. Today I’m back in Copenhagen, and while people around me are getting married and having children, I’m saving up and planning my next adventures.
When I’m on the go, I try to be the definition of an adventure traveller. I like to explore, to be physically active, to meet people and to connect with nature. And with a notebook in my hand and a camera on my shoulder, I also like to document what I experience.
Adventurer’s Footprints is the story of my travels. Here you will find in-depth guides, practical tips and compelling photos to stoke your wanderlust and help you travel better. You will also find writings on how travel can contribute positively to increase awareness of our climate and help you to travel more responsibly.
